And thus far can you name the biggest threat to Theor? It’s the fl leads father. The guy who had Theor kidnapped. Who ordered the child to be killed. And is now currently threatening the child to have his way.
It doesn’t make sense that a duke can keep a crown prince hostage when the prince lives in the palace. The fact that she was strong enough to fight against the emperor but let’s her child be threatened and kept as a hostage when he is right there physically with her and she has means to ensure his safety is nothing but stupid. There may be spies in the palace but there are more loyal attendants than the spies. What can the spies do if the root cause of evil is tried and executed for les majeste?
