Every time I get frustrated after reading something, I come back here like a reflex.
It's the 17th reread, I guess I'm not so lucky lately
It wasn't that good.
It's an Isekai so of course the plot was gonna be a sieve, and at that it didn't fail.
It had good points though.
The art -especially the food- was good even though the proportions were often off, or was it the perspective? I probably shouldn't point this out but the dramatic panels with the protagonists being twice the size of trucks were... Funny?
The characters were endearing but all in all, their personality were bland and beside Mujin, didn't have any development.
The kids were adorable and I sincerely laughed a few times.
But tbh, that's all.
It certainly can be enough for a lot of people but my suspension of disbelief got dropkicked right in the balls here,
And I think it's because of the author's tentative for explanations.
When you write something as fanciful as an Isekai, there are two ways:
Either you start the explanation that fits the laws of the universe you created,
Or you don't explain anything and focus on the story you want to tell.
Here the author tried to do both but came up with the explanation way too late in the story, and it seriously came out of nowhere, the villain popped out just because she was needed and never had any other roles than to explain the unexplainable with some vague magic power that had no substance or other purpose than to make shit happen.
The word "transmigration" was even thrown there like it was all planned and well thought of but sooooooo far in the story that it wasn't even needed.
So this kind of ruined the immersion for me.
I was okay with following the Isekai love story with its own intrigues and incidents, the protagonist even managed to become part of the universe with his own emotions and storyline, leaving aside his original intention of not tampering with the initial plot very naturally but suddenly BAM!
Here comes the rushed, incoherent and unnecessary explanation of the whole shit that nobody asked for, 10 bullshit chapters for free.
Also they were running in circles for a while, it kinda frustrated me, and their reunion felt really unnatural and rushed af.

It quickly became obvious that it was just some random ass porn but the art seemed nice until they stripped

Fuck, I liked this, it was funny, interesting, well written, original and then this happen???
We had our happy ending, he found and understood love, he made the most of the time he had left, he was stubborn as fck but strong despite the humongous shit he was going through I loved how he developed his game in parallel of what he was enduring and how the feelings were so much deeper than they were introduced at the beginning.
... And then nothing.
"Hahaha just kidding it was all a joke, nothing was ever at stake in this story you wasted your emotions here bitch."
Pwaaaah it's ruined for me that ending was the worst. I believed in this story and gave up my night reading this shit that got ruined in the 10last panels of the last chapter.
The story is ridiculous and hilarious, but the translation seems off.
Yet I have a totally unrelated question and maybe people passing by will be able to answer it:

It was interesting!
The end fell a little flat after all that drama with the civil war, king's death, his brother's betrayal and all so i admit i was expecting something more... Grandiose?
Zain was a colossal shit and i especially waited to see his head on a plate in the middle of a banquet table but i guess this ending made sense with the protagonist's mindset.
But what about... The rest? There's a huge part of the story missing?
So that author knows more than porn?
It was cute and funny, and i fucking love that ferret. it's nice to see an unusual pet
