I checked out the raws and I think there was a slight translation error! I think that the numbers are their elementary school grades. So Neko-chan should be 6-7 (grade 1), Sai should be 7-8(grade 2) and Kai should be 10-11(grade 5). My chinese isn't great though so don't take my word for it and I'm really thankful that this cute story is being translated!<3 <3 ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ <3 <3

The Japanese word for grade level was same word for age in Chinese so I think it's just misunderstanding in translator's part.

No he's not a female. The translators put a note at the end of the chap: Okama is a very effeminate guy, but i googled it, Okama is also a Japanese slang term for transvestite..

Hi! Translator here. I should have googled the term transvestite properly. He is a guy and crossdressers. transvestites are people who crossdress, i got confused w crossdressers. But he is more properly described (IMO) as effeminate because have you even seen him crossdressing? He's sort of like 80% female and 10% gay and 10% male. Sort of those MAMAS at gay bars?

Um, yeah hi, please don't use that term. The proper term would be transgender except he isn't trans at all as he doesnt identify as a female. He is just an effeminate male, or he may be genderfluid

yeah, so transgender and transvestite are two completely different identifications, transgender is someone who is born male or female but wants to be the opposite gender, while transvestite or crossdresser, only likes to wear clothing or make up involved with the other gender, that does not mean they want to be the opposite gender, it just means they like to wear the things they wear, and if you try and say I'm wrong then a little news for you, I'm transgender, and have transgender friends, and we are different from transvestites or crossdressers, so shut up and sit down.

Okay okay, i agree with you, but they did not say that they were the same thing, I guess the term 'transvestite' can seem offensive or not offensive depending on the person. If the character in this story does in fact dress up to be of opposite gender and does not want to actually be the opposite gender, then they would be considered a cross dresser. However this dude doesn't? I honestly just think he's gender fluid or likewise as he doesn't seem to mind which gender he is.

True, you have a good point there, so maybe he is gender fluid, I wouldn't put it past them to do that, I mean they've made all kinds of characters different genders and identifications, like in Bremen, Ryo was transgender, which I thought was pretty awesome for a manga about rock'n'roll, so yeah, who know. Meanwhile to the trans discussion -- there's a cultural difference here that shes having to translate, so it's unfair to be rude to her. Regardless, okama is a pretty interesting terms with a controversial history in Japanese gender and sexual politics and if there's anyone you'd like to have beef with over its usage and meaning, it should be the author and generally BL (which though I love BL it can be irresponsible about lgbtq representation)

Yeah, ryo saw shiratori as a girl. When he said that, it meant it more like...how he was acting? Or somehing like that (idk how to put it in words). Ryo didnt mean that shiratori was a girl PHYSICALLY. But yes, shoratori is supposed to be a guy.

What word did they originally use to describe him? What language did u translate this from? If u used Chinese scans, they may have used a completely different word to describe him from the original Japanese. Just wondering, cuz u used okama in the second chapter and wondered if u just picked that or if that's what was originally written.

The chinese scans said transvestite, but i only got the japanese raws chapter 2 onwards. They used okama. I refer to both japanese and chinese o make sure i'm as accurate as possible, since im not translating from the original language.

No, there is no drama like in some cliche shoujo manga, there is not some kind of soap opera either. This manhwa so damn good that I keep going without giving it a rest bcause I wanna know whats next, the art so beautiful, the story superb, makes you gigling like a dumb from ear to ear, laughing like crazy, and it gives you those fluttering feeling that makes you go "kyaaaaa kyaaaaaa". I even crying my heart out, it stirred your emotion so bad, that I wouldnt mind having a gangster as a lover, even if the seme has dirty mouth but he has beautiful face, even if he is rude & harsh, he has cute side to him, even the sometime cheesy line seem sweet to me, even the immature side of him I found is so endearing. Most shoujo or yaoi I read, I always got annoyed by the female lead or the uke, but not this one, you can't help to love this couple. Basically I read yaoi bcause the hot sex scene, but this manhwa even without sex scene it gives you warm butterfly in your stomach. You know, like when you watch a movie with sneak peek to the sex scenes, you feel more aroused than when you watching porn movies.
