ok don't get me wrong, i like the story i really do but Touma kind of pisses me off. Like "i'm so disappointed you have suck low-self esteem"???? excuse me?? Literally saying something like "You're not the prettiest girl I know, but that doesn't stop me from liking you" or anything like that is better than his take. OMG! I'm 5 years late to reply but i totally agree with you!! I saw this manga when i was younger and i only focused on the funny scenes, but reading it again now that I'm 20, i really felt like she deserved someone better then touma, he blames her for having low self-esteem while he himself never been honest with his feelings and hesitated a lot of times to be honest with her!
He can't blame her for feeling insecure while he totally know she was being told she's ugly her whole life! He's bad at reassuring her and making her feel like she's really special to him!
He's nice but sometimes i feel she deserved someone better
