When that observer said things about the previous generations not surviving and having no direct descendants. So I was thinking that maybe they are the first generation themselves and have been reincarnated over and over (maybe until they are finally able to succeed) through their clans. Maybe its a result/part of the curse or maybe out of deep regret or promise (〜￣△￣)〜
