I feel like there’s a pattern when it comes to novels in general: If the main character is female, there will be romance at some point in the story. If the main character is male, then there will be females crushing on the male, and whether or not that male responds to their crushes is a coin toss. (The exceptions being BL, Seinin, and Smut)
No crushing here, well, maybe not quite everyone, every gender is crushing over young master silver shield, but more in a fanboy way not in a romantic way
