I’ve seen a lot of people saying that they find the ending rushed but I think this ending was really logical. He met/talked to both of his parents and got the answer he maybe didn’t wanna hear but it made him realize that he wanted to be a better parent. He wants to give his child a better life than he had when he was younger. Also, his mom really isn’t any better than his dad. They both suck in different ways xD.
And then he woke up, realizing it was all a dream the end

So hwan is the bad guy who’s been creating the villains. I don’t think he wants to physically hurt chiwoo but he’s using this to manipulate him while also stopping him from getting in the dark sides way
