I agree. I believe those reaction came from them see him beating those things while smiling or sum like that like other manhwa tends to do. So it's would be safe to say they are scared/intimidated but also feel some sort of grateful? Cuz he protect this town.

She been smart all the time throghout the story but suddenly what prossesed her when she heard a sound to walk up the stair that has no light , in the dark and same spot that have a possibility of someone push a person down.
Its the same old pushing the "damsel in distress" agenda, i'm so tired of seeing it again and again cuz how do you make a character who's fairly smart, do something so uncharacteristically dumb and expect us to go "yeah, that makes sense"
