I want to commend Kyungsoo for how he handled the situation. He told Chowon what he heard and knew and gave Chowon a chance to say his version of events. His decision at the end of the conversation was a factual/logical statement resulting from the facts given by both versions. That's how conflicts as adults should be resolved.

Yul's reaction just made me hurt. He has self-esteem and self-worth issues and Luan knew it because he's been investigating Yijun and Yul for quite sometime now. Right from the start he (and so did I) questioned Luan's interest to him but because Luan showed him a bit of kindness and gentleness he thought that whatever Luan's doing can't be that bad.
This is definitely on Luan. Sure he says he can't live w/o Yul and stuff but this is the 1st time in my reading of yaoi that I don't trust this seemingly sincere confession of the seme. I will always have this nagging feeling that he'll toss Yul away.

Maybe being extremely dominant in a gender causes them to have hormonal imbalance that maybe causing temper issues.
I know of someone in rl who had hormonal imbalance and was really quick to anger and borderline violent. When he sought medical help, they gave him a medicine to balance his hormones and that really help with his anger issues.

Wonje was truly, very evil. The one who cut the wings & fed it raw to the envoy, then beheaded him was the past wonje, not his current self. The current emperor hasn't done anything that extreme yet. This story highlights how disastrous bad parenting combined with immense power can be. Scary thing is, this can apply to real people in real life too. *shudder*
