In some of them alphas and betas can get pregnant. In some alphas don't bite. In some omegas lose their pheromones after getting bitten. Etc
In most of the ones I've read, pheromones do affect betas, or betas can smell / sense them, but it affects alphas a whole more than betas in most of these stories.
The original omegaverse rules were that betas can’t sense them then it changed to they can barely sense them until it’s literally pouring out of an omega like a heat. Now it’s basically authors choice to do whatever they want under the name.
At the end of ch 39 Hyowon sees the ex grab Seyohyun’s hair and forcibly kiss him IN FRONT OF HIM, and then immediately in chapter 40 he says Seyohyun cheated on him???? Because “he kissed him” like what the fuck????? YOU WERE THERE WHEN IT HAPPENED HOW THE FUCK IS THAT “CHEATING”?!?!
Aside from the fact that he doesn’t take no for an answer and kept on having sex when Seohyun clearly didn’t want to, this “cheating” comment was the final straw for me to officially dislike him. What’s so charming about this guy other than his looks? He sucks.

Ch 7 had the most ridiculous dramatic plot and it immediately got resolved in another ridiculous and dramatic way. Did the mangaka forget their characters are adults and businessmen and not 12 year olds in middle school?
