aaaaaaaaa i cant help but be disappointed by the massive drop in quality for the translations its too bad since story really really deserves to be served justice and mass produced translations that lack quality isn't helping it ive noticed its been a problem thats been really invading the shoujo manhwa, where the story is really promising and the art style is absolutely breath taking but the translation quality will be clunky and full of watermarks, fully ruining the webtoon
and before the "then do it yourself" "lets take what we can get" "ur reading illegally, just be grateful" comments start, lets just remember that even if the translations aren't official, we especially as illegal readers should do our best so that the hard work of the author and illustrators wont be wasted and misconstrued because of bad translations, and also it isn't that the translations are the type where they'll just get a name or simple phrases wrong, its to the point where even simple grammatical errors are being made and translation errors big enough that they can affect the readers understanding of the whole story which is very disrespectful to the author (like i said were already reading on a illegal website, the least we can do is make sure that the story that the author wants to conveyed is conveyed properly so that their hardwork is done justice)
and also comments like that just enable those mass producers further and supporting content that not only steals the authors content but also ruin it for profit? let us please be pirates with morality and taste for quality (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
and also if you're ready to take the time to machine translate it atleast look over it and make sure its still grammatically correct (looking at you manhwa cl*n)
Finally someone said it!!! You're absolutely right on that, I've also noticed that usually those groups with shitty translations even snipe other groups that actually are properly translating it and post multiple mtl chapters and probably do this to make a quick buck out some very popular categories of shoujo manhwas (specifically where the mc transmigrated into a book/game usually as the villainess/extra/daughter of villain).
So yeah, we shouldn't take pity on these people and thank them for their "hard work", they're sniping actual good tl groups and not even trying!!! It's like praising a bad fast food restaurant for stealing costumers from a well established family restaurant and forcing them to close down only to sell their poor made food for way more money and as time goes on they eventually monopolize the whole food industry in the town. They suck and we shouldn't defend them for it!!
