the way i see it, lass and the emperor both intended to use each other but are slowly falling for each other at the same time. i don’t really care if the emperor is useless or whatever, kinda just shows that she only needed his status to kickstart her plans bc she’s entirely capable
okay wait these are my theories after reading this far.
1. i think this sunbae came from the future? or a parallel world where all this has already happened. that explains why he’s different from what the girl heard about him, why he acts like he’s been battle-hardened, the scars, etc.
2. hohyun (mc) and him became lovers in that time. i think right now the ml is coping that his boyfriend’s the same person and that he remembers him.
