man this turned out better than I thought. whoever the creator of this was, they're AMAZING. the dialogues for whenever they get into misunderstandings and fights and try to make up is soooo refreshing,, what I mean is it's so mature and healthy. they don't just f and make up like other works, they actually communicate ! love it sm definitely a fave now
yeah good art and plot's got a potential but we're on chap 70 already, am I blind or do I just really don't sense any signs of character development??? I guess the phasing isn't actually bad but at the same time I don't think it's right to say that when the seme's twisted af Wasted the good looks for making him a literal criminal lol. Art's too good to make me not give up on this yet so this man better change soon or I'm dropping

You know, this kind of stories are meant for those who enjoy the toxic obsessive ml, for your own enjoyment you shouldn't hang around hoping the characters will change.
I love this trope and I'm actively seeking it out so I can give you a few pointers as to what should be a red flag for you on the cover : characters not happy, seme happy but uke sad or scared, seme forcefully holding uke (usually from behind), use of dark colors for background.
It's a bit tricky for this one since they changed the cover but it used to check a few of those boxes.
Anyway, hope this is helpful for you or anyone wishing to avoid those stories.
We are only 1/3 of the way through the plot. There's a lot of development that has still yet to happen
Oh no, I'm totally fine with these kind of stories ! I'm just looking for at least the slightest bit of character development bc I don't want a bad ending between the leads ╥ - ╥ I said that bc I haven't read the novel yet and i'm just hoping that the seme wouldn't be forcing the uke all the time— is all! I see ^^ well the relationship have to change one way or another for the story to continue so we just have to wait for the seme to realize his own feelings because I don't think he know what he is doing
- has way more twisted plots and it's like a breath of fresh air for me after reading multiple stories with the usual "normal" tropes. I don't hate the story and how it's written, I'm just stating my thoughts as a reader. Like let's say I don't want the ml to be violent for too long and I prefer this and that but I'm still gonna read it anyway ( ꈍᴗꈍ). I'm clutching on this little hope that this is true bc I've only seen comments on abt how the ml doesn't change at all and is way more worse in the novel

He actually changed quite a bit by the end.
And I also think he seems a little kinder in the novel.
