THIS WAS SUCH A REFRESHING READ. The main heroine of this story wasn't some flashy, know it all that isekaid, but instead what we get is a reserve, almost like a background character persona. She wasn't a princess and she didn't have superpowers, which was so relatable in way. I need more stories like this. Also wanted to see them with kids tho (〜￣△￣)〜

Regrettably, there's nothing else quite like Kusuriya overall ╮(￣△￣)╭
I know because I've been looking for a year since I started reading this. What I'd recommend instead is the novel version at https://creativenovels.com/novel/kusuriya-no-hitorigoto/ which, happily, is far ahead of the manga story-wise.
If you want a lead or setting with similar vibes, I have a few to rec that are good in their own rights:
1. Saiunkoku Monogatari (manga/novel/anime - another pseudo Chinese setting; unfortunately the full story is incomplete or untranslated but still amazing; I'd rec the anime most)
2. Koi Dano Ai Dano (manga - shoujo school romance; female protag is comparable to Maomao in intelligence and characteristics)
3. A Beauty, A Fatal Concubine (manhua - reincarnation type but really good; the lead is capable and clever, though differently to Maomao, also has medicinal skills)

Plot-wise the manga (at ch.36) is currently around vol.2 ch.14-15 of the WN.
There are slight differences between the 2 though, particularly around this part of the story. The adaptations were like WN > LN > manga x2 and this version is directly adapted from the LN, which was edited a bit from the WN. It doesn't really have any significant effect overall but I'd personally encourage you to read the WN from the beginning (I may be biased haha). First 2 volumes are short after all, and the subtle variation in the way it reads as a prose novel as opposed to a graphic one is enjoyable.
