I've read this months ago. This made me emotionally exhausted. Like, idk. I didn't shed tears but my heart broke yet felt empty.
At some point in the story, i expected it to be a solved case. But after all, it is really centered to the romantic escapade and growth of the two. You see how they developed into trusting each other up to the point of doing EVERYTHING TOGETHER. I did not even care about other things anymore because THE agony just elevated so much after i've read this. I 'somehow' felt a 'slight' relieve when they decided that they will do IT together (at that point!! They really found comfort and peace in each other's arm given the circumstances they faced) BUT i wished y'know that they could've escaped, the other investigator(the good? one) could've done it earlier and better, the killer is caught earlier, IT did not happened to suchae, and... they could've meet in other circumstances that will benefit the both of them. This story is so beautiful.
Sorry for my incorrect sentences :) English is not my first language. i just want to share my thoughts and feelings. I would like to know yours' too :)
I feel you. Really. I kinda feel sad for reading it. I mean the story wasn't bad at all, it's just too heavy and dark.
