I don't like the father but I don't think he hates the daughter either. He cried at the mother's wedding and remembers MC name.
Gonna go against you in this one cause even though he doesn’t hate her he would’ve never given her the time of day if she wasn’t yeeted out of the abyss. If she didn’t make that contract she would’ve been holding any glance he threw her way close to her heart. It feels like he is manipulating her and it makes me go feral like QUEEN PLEASE STAND UP >_<

People seriously tweaking over the mom and Franz. Shoo I ship it because it's not everyday you get an older female/younger male ship. It's literally not even incest.
I agree so hard lmao like if it bothers you so much just go I beg
It’s iffy cuz it’s super weird to date your daughter’s cousin or your cousin’s mother
If they had known each other from the beginning like that (timewise/since Anna was born), maybe then. Or maybe if the setting was modern (even thag doesn't necessarily make it iffy). But it isn't, and if you haven't noticed, the story discusses/shows a lot of complicated topics, and (from my opinion) tries its best to make the audience think- not just turn off the brain and consume. This is one of those! In general, the story deals in shades of grey, not just black and white.
To me, they're practically just two adult strangers who happen to have a person biolotically related to both. And no one knows the last part, except us readers. I find their dynamic interesting and am looking forward to for more, my years of reading romance tells me the story is leaning into that direction. At the very least, we're going to get to see it be explored a bit more.
The subject is.. well, subjective, and I have no right to tell you how to feel about it. Just wanted to explain why/what I (and I believe many others) think of the potential relationship/why we are rooting for it - basically, it's interesting, fun, and somewhat unique ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
