I'm confused, what do you mean by "the usual route"?

The cliché way, perhaps? The one where the our main babes are living the high life, happy as f*ck, and some random guy (usually an ex or an old friend) swings by and happens to fall in love with one of them (usually the uke) and we all know what happens next. The ANGST. Love triangles. Messy misunderstandings. Em I getting it right here?

I just hope everything goes well with them, and the other guy (black haired) finds someone >~< this author likes to mess around and make us and the characters suffer

You know is like saying ," I already gave up on you and I'm here with you today only as a friend because that's all I want to be from now on. I totally agree. To begin with, they were great friends, regardless of everything else. So now that she got that out of her system (you know, the whole being honest thing) I'm sure she can move on. Buuut I believe the author will go with the usual setup and make Kaname fall in love with her and win her back.

I wonder why? Maybe because she can do better than a guy like Kaname, who is still love stuckwith someone as immature as Mayuri.

True enough. But well, what really bothers me is the fact he didn't realize in all those years and didn't really give her any importance. I realized that when he actually wanted to put the watch in the drawer, like it didn't matter to him. Not only he didn't see her as a girl but as a friend he was kinda so-so too haha Though maybe I'm being too hard on him just bc of Riho.

No, is true. We all must be strict with him. I was mad because of the way he was with Riho, but I would be upset if he drag the Mayuri syndrome and didn't fall and make Riho happy.

Here I am, almost a year back, I'm glad I didn't give up.

I think he's touching jian more now bc he's aware of jian's feelings and doesn't want him to run away or hide any of his feelings. Before he didn't really let Jian touch him bc he thought it was annoying, but now he realizes why Jian was touching him so much. But then again it could just be using wishful thinking lol.

I think the same! It's very sad to see them come this far but know that in the present they're back to how they interacted in the first place. I guess they lost all the progress they made when Jian Yi disappeared. :(

He'll probably realize it once she bongs to someone else and she's out of his reach. （/TДT)/

You know, now that you mention it I played this scene in my head after reading this where he asks her to go home together from school and she is like "I can't, this other guy asked me first". *Evil laugh*
Ok, sorry for being so weird hahaha

Oh yes!
What I thought was that once they get home she stops him infront of his house and breaks their so called relationship. She then says that they should go back been friends and so on. He goes inside the house and she goes to some other place and she cries her heart out, near the place she is there's a couple and the girl is breaking up with the guy, the girl leaves the guy and the guy cries. Riho hears it and she goes and she finds the guy and she notices that the guy found her( he followed her cries). They sit together and talk about why they were crying and suddenly become friends. The next day she sees him with Kaname and it turns out he is one of his friends and they smile at each other and Kaname asks how they know each other, they both blush and stay silent and they develop from there...
That's what I was thinking after re-reading their chapters.

I wish I could like this comment. This is exactly the thing I wanted, Riho caring about someone else and then Kaname realizing he's lost her. I really hope (though I doubt it happens) that the mangaka makes this happen before going back to the main characters. Because that was getting annoying, come on, they love each other but can't be honest, totally different from this.
Don't worry, you aren't weird, I actually played many escenarios in my head.

I know! For me the MC's where already together many chapters ago! I wonder what the mangaka thought when she decided to make them like this. *sigh*
P.s. I know! But it would've been great if it was like that.
