Are we now in the era of the guides now being the tops? It brings such a different type of tension. Also this author is getting better with each story

Sadly it's still pretty newly developing so not a lot of series yet! I'm hoping to see much more pop up soon now. But the other one I saw is Nameless:

I still like Xiao Nuo but NGL, all this time I thought the backstory was going to be that his lover was also a CEO or in a position of power and then ended up using him and then threw him away while he was naive at the time or something. This feels like an incredibly lukewarm backstory for how stringent his values are in approach to relationships. Not saying it's a bad premise because I feel the same thoughts, but I think the mentality of it needed to be explored way more.

This definitely has a weird balance of not going full toxic or full fluff but still has the extreme ends of both in the story? lol
To me it almost feels like the BL equivalent of a shoujo premise where the girl falls in love with a "bad boy" almost taken to another level. But I do actually like it that they really made him have almost zero redeeming qualities besides being handsome - it's an interesting conflict that it looks really cute but a lot of the other comments bring up good points that like huh?? The future looks so insecure lol

I think it's getting better at least as it goes on. Although I agree with many others that the beginning snippets felt really weird with feeling like Sol is just projecting onto Ian his image of Brian. I really do appreciate that this is giving more character to Brian because I start to see more similarities to Ian now because initially they felt like completely 2 different characters. I thought Brian was a very soft/elegant person from those initial snapshots, but nah, he has aggressive/rude moments just like Ian.
Could be bad or good for Ian and Sol, only future development will tell, but Sol and Brian's love story/relationship is definitely starting to come together for why they say it is so important/meaningful/impactful. You can just see the love in the way they look at each other now.
Omg this artist's expressions are soo good, the fucking tension right now
