I was actually really happy reading the content about Utou's family, but again it gets completely sidelined and interrupted by scenes of the first couple again. I like both couples equally but I think this overall is just very poor transitioning from the author's approach that is disrupting the flow of the stories
More than distancing themselves I'm so entirely frustrated with the manager! Precisely because the company wants to force him to do acting because it makes him more marketable. From what we've seen I don't even know if he really enjoys acting.
Sasabe says some shitty things but I really like his character for some reason. Because it all seems so despairingly sad with his attitude towards Karasuma that it's something he desperately fights against but can't escape it. And that envy towards Karasuma is from him embodying everything he hates about how society views himself, but how he ended up with a beautiful happy end.
But I love Masato's sentiment of "I want you to fall in love with me" vs Chika's "I'm waiting for you to fall in love with me." Which just makes it seem sadder when Hotaka did start to but was betrayed by that
The drama is being dragged on so I'm just reading it to see Kyujo's end at this point

This story is taking a weird direction, like it suddenly just forgot about the Beta and proceeds with whatever as if he was never actually a character
