Debated buying the English physical that was announced but no way now lol. Authors deserve to be paid for their work but literally, fucking capitalism, means there's way more nuance to the topic and something you always have to deal with as someone in the art industry - especially when you deal with global circumstances and companies that always cheapen the work off people's passions.
It literally doesn't take much to treat readers with respect to get respect from them.
Reread and ready to cry my ass off at the double mix movie showing
I love how nuanced Given is, it is a beautiful story about the characters, their motivation, and love. Second I absolutely adore and appreciate how varied the love is, that it's not picture perfect and everyone had different questions or approaches to it.
For another story I've recently been thinking about how I've seen people complain about, oh the love was too quick, or not realistic or didn't look a certain way. And when I finally read it for myself I was it didn't seem like that at all. It makes me sad that sometimes people view romance has to look and behave an exact certain way.
