Diego is so funny lmao (the little annoying chibis are great, also probably one of my top favorite ML designs). Cecilia is so cute (Cedric too)! I also adore the MC - having the bg as a teacher is definitely new but she's so caring and nurturing! The author really conveyed that well and that she's experienced.
The main couple is kinda... Not it. But the world and other characters are so interesting. I do like the plotting the ML has going on, but the MC is pretty dumb unfortunately - I would've really loved to see a plot where they have to conflict with each other more and really see the ML go crazy. The MC letting things just happen is really letting down all the potential.
And they're almost 30 but there's nothing smart going on in the relationship is just lmao.
This BL story is really great at showing the mind control ability though. Like it's all revealed really subtlety and not done comically over the top. The way you learn about how much Howon's life has been entirely manipulated is crazy. But that's why I'm so disappointed the MC doesn't get to do anything off that.
