I remember reading this a long time ago and didn't see the tragedy tag the first time; so I got an unexpected heartbreak from it. It really made me cry and my heart aches so much BUT it truly is an amazing story. Even now I just wish Euan and Jeremy happened. Tragic.
She deserves better. I understand why the original act as a villain and you can see how lonely she looks every time. Especially since growing up being stomped on every single day. My heart aches every time she has to stand up or fight for herself. Honestly, I wouldn't forgive them either. You can tell the family are still second guessing her behavior and words. It hurts every time. I would want to be free and away as well from a place like that. She's already in her room most the times anyways, might as well live on a free life alone.
