Why are the words so complicated I don't understand anything

how on earth do u think their characters speaking old language in historical setting would be in anyway not important? great writers know how to make their story immersive and that includes every little aspects of the story. there's no rule about shit like that just bc you're too dumb to understand complicated language omg

Well Miss perfect, the writer is korean and not English first of all and before u call others dumb, look urself in the mirror and check the comment once more, did I say that the writers have to write in modern English? It's the rule given by the publishers and editors so that majority of the audience can read it, and finding old English hard to understand is not dumb it's just that iam living in the modern world not a grandma like u, so bye Felicia, better get some education before commenting,

it is modern english though. in both senses.
the language ME started around 1700, earlier if you count early modern english.
it's just written in a way to appear historical, but pretty sure grammar and even vocab wise it's present day english, don't remember a word that is so out of date it hasn't be used for centuries.
also this translation is published so that point is useless to argue about anyway since it's clearly not the case here.

At this point of I see any new user iam gona assume it's a fake account made by one of yall to back u up because ur too scared to fight alone, because ain't no way someone is gona go back the comment section that was commented like days ago, the only person who will see the comment are the one who commented earlier here.

It's referred to as Shakespearean English dingus. Just like how it's referred to as King James English.
Are you sure you don't need to do 'research' seeing as you referred to the language in this manhwa as 'Old English' multiple times. Old English/Anglo-Saxon is so distant from any stage of modern English that it barely holds any resemblance. Yk Beowulf? It's written in Old English. Try reading that before judging this manhwa for being too 'Old English'

Haha when did I judge this manwha know the difference between judging and expressing ones opinion, And yes Iam correct, you sound like a fool because the English Shakespear used was not his English but he used those words in his work and it's called Shakespearean, and tell me doofus, is it an offensive word to say a manwha is written in old english style ( which it is idiot), so all I want to say is that this manwha was a bit difficult to understand because the English used here is not used to us modern people, maybe for u because ur grandma but iam not, and if u read my original first comment, I wrote only difficult to understand, then u guys brought in Shakespear old english what not just to justify urself, which in that case is not even important because iam pretty sure I didn't say anything bad or something harmful, but if u think that when a person says they don't understand something is offensive then my dear u don't need a hospital u need a dead bed and be erased from this world

I wonder how old is the uke, 15? 17? Because judging by the appearance, on ch 1 the uke was still a very small child probably like 9 or 10 and it's only 5 years after that so maybe he is still a minor, the seme seems older because on ch 1 when the uke was still a child the seme already looked like an adult

I wish hwayoung was a dom uke, I want to read a dom uke somebody give me rec
