There is a time skip. They meet again when they are adults, and uke is still being blackmailed by that bastard… Top kind of forces uke if im not wrong, in other words a ton of unnecessary details.. that could have been solved w one simple convo.

•was published back in 2013
•Female Lead: Dawn - 20 years old, an 'exotic' beauty, calm and intelligent. She has been imprisoned for 11 years by the Viscount. Before meeting the male lead, the female lead's life is just pure misery. At the tender age of nine, she watched her entire family get brutally executed under false accusations of collaborating with foreign enemies. She had to survive alone, got kidnapped by pirates, sold as a sex slave to the pedophile viscount, and endured all sorts of torture. Despite all this, she felt guilty for surviving when her family didn’t and suffered in silence for 11 years, to the point that people thought she was mute.

•Male Lead: Exer - 28 years old, Lord of Garion, and the first in line for the throne. Because of the dying wishes of the former king and his father, he cannot dethrone the incompetent current king and is waiting patiently for the right moment to usurp the throne. He falls in love with Dawn at first sight, and, despite their status difference, stages a rebellion to change the laws so they can be together. He ends up becoming a ruler to protect their love. •Princess Anna - the king's spoiled and cherished daughter. She sees Dawn, whom Exer loves, as a thorn in her side and harasses her. She dies an awful death tho. RIP

•Viscount - A close advisor and a pdf file, he has an intense obsession with Dawn

•Throughout the story, the female lead faces lots of hardships, including miscarriage, amnesia, and war, but they overcome everything.

•ML treats her as an equal partner rather than just a plaything. They get married, have a son, and live happily until she falls ill and dies, prompting ML to commit suicide the same day (warned you). They died next to each other in the end. They meet again as souls in the world beyond death.

guys please take my comment with a grain of a salt :’) it’s just a sparksnotes version of the story and it glossed over a lot of the meat of the plot that I couldn’t fit into the summary without writing an entire essay

same but he’s still shitty for what he did

So the MC and emperor are family (brothers) it started when he killed everyone in the court in front of him and took the throne saying he's doing it for him and country. Underneath the emperor has been isolating him his entire life cuz of his obsession for him. The emperor killed his fiancee(idk if she died) locked him up almost raped him so he away. Now the emperor kidnapped him away and doing the same thing. Ooh he supposedly telling MC the dragon is dead. Now he's just insane stabbing himself just so he can get affection from the MC.
