so i’m really talking about the conclusion to this jealousy bs but like… he looks through his phone and finds a text from the CFO and it’s like. such a bland text but ofc the MC gets upset and confronts the ML, and the ML like smiles cause he’s happy to cause the MC jealousy, and the MC gets super sad and upset and slaps him (? saying this off memory. it’s either slap or tries to leave) and then the MC gonna kiss him and just start fucking him without context.

listen, i’m all for a stupid throw away side story about some miscommunication trope leading to jealousy but it GRINDSSS my gears to set it up like this and not at least give me the ML getting his ass chewed. and it’s like he basically mentions who the CFO is during fucking and that’s it :,) that’s the whole conclusion to it. i wanted something juicy and melodramatic and it was like the laziest set up to some intense sex scene that i don’t care about

if you’ve ever been kissed in the middle of the argument cause the other person thought it was gonna be cute, that’s basically the feeling i have in this moment at least deliver on the stupid angst if you’re gonna use the stupidest trope

yeah, I had a feeling it would go something like that, sad, the author seems to be streaching the story to make more money

lowkey a sucker for an overreaction, exclusively when it causes the ML some stress because they’re usually assholes 99% of the time, so i relish in them having to actually pander to the MC for once. super disappointed it was “resolved” in such a boring way

I get that, I'm all in for the drama and changing roles
