All of these are the emperor's plan in order to get rashta pregnant and have an heir. He and Navier ate a cookie that makes one infertile. He thinks that it isn't him who's got issues but Navier. He just wants Rashta for the baby and wants the baby to become accepted in society. This asshole also thinks that Navier would wait for hin so he thought that divorcing him and having rashta sit on the throne will make his half slave half royal heir be accepted by his people. Then he'll come back to Navier after a year and make her his empress again since rashta cant handle being the emptess at all. Little did he know that Heinley was eyeing Navier as his own Queen do right after Sovieshu asked for divorce Navier married Heinley. Heinley got Navier pregnant in less that a year. That made Sovieshu think if that child he got with Trashta is really is child. There's more spoilers. I'll do more if you guys want.

There will be a time when "his" baby with rashta will get kidnapped. But because he thinks that the baby may noy be his. He didn't searched for the baby at all further. Then he would only drink and get wasted. Before he retires because he doesnt have any heir at all, he'd give his seat to Navier's father. Because he think that would just mean that the children of his loved woman may inherit the throne at least since they're of the same family. That's how Sovieshu loves Navier. Even if the children's not his at all he'd rather that her children indirectly inherit the throne
