If they’re incapable of facing off against the Queen Dowager’s men then he obviously either 1) needs to replace them or 2) back down from the fight entirely. He should have pursued the assassins immediately after getting her to safety. Now the queen knows of her powers and knows Arsene intends to keep her. The danger just increased substantially.
