
Oh no the girls are fighting! Anyway so fascinating to see what their beef was in high school. I understand why he blew up like that. Having someone see you in a vulnerable position and be nice to you during a rough time (which can be misinterpreted as pity) is really embarassing/overwhelming especially for a teenager who doesn't have the emotional regulation skills needed. Still no excuse to take it out on others and I wouldn't be surprised if he gets walloped.
I like the time-skip. I hate when characters breakup as teenagers and you have to see several filler chapters of them being miserable through college and THEN they're reunited as office workers. I'm glad they ripped the band-aid off. We'll probably see the breakup in flashbacks anyway.
