i totally get why hess started crying cause her only getting revenge for kael is the only thing that keeps her alive in this world. if it wasn’t for that she would’ve killed herself already like think about this she came in the world for what? like she wasn’t even a side character and she didn’t wanna change anything to the story. i think kael saying that he doesn’t want her to go such a length for him is super heartbreaking for her like the only reason why she isn’t going insane is her revenge plan

It's pretty good, philomel is a good FL and the characters are likeable (except for the emperor low-key). rn I'm waiting for the emperor and luguin to meet haha

The fl is strong but isn't face slapping kind. The ML barely appeared for like 15 minutes. So he has no presence.
There isn't any apparent villain. Yet.
Like sareen said, it's not as intense as Roxanna, The Crimson Lady and Crowning a spoiled brat. Tho i think the vibe is similar to I've become a crow. More on character development.
