This is the first manga where I've actually felt bad for the main character. Like, not "feeling bad about their situation" (like I do about other manga characters), but actually feel bad for them.
I've never read a manga where the main character gets rejected before even realising that he's in love. Like, that really actually hurt.
The brothers a jerk. However, I really really want them to end up together. Not because I like the couple. Not because I like the brother. But because the main character deserves it. He deserves to be happy after that.
I feel so bad for him. Sensei is acting like a prick. Really, he could have found a better way to say things, and now he's toying with him. That's cruel. And now these bullies. Poor guy can't get a break. Ah, but it's so good. I can't wait for more. I totally get why this one is getting animated. It's way better than the other couple's story.

I also think this story is waaaay better than the original. Tbh I was really uninterested in the original (not because of the plot/characters but because of all the useless dialogue), it was still a good story though (=・ω・=)

I'm guessing chapter 3 is actually 4? cuz 1.2 is said to be 2 (in the notes at the beginning) then 2 is actually 3 and 3 is 4 but its not labelled correctly.
