I'm actually surprised that he disposed grandma's wardrobe. She'll pass away soon so I thought he'd keep the wardrobe as a keepsake or way to remind him of his grandma.
On that note, I think Jaekyung will keep it and it'll show up again in the future during the chasing arc or the ending and it'll pull on Dan's heartstrings. Just a guess tho.

I'm starting to get confused at what they're arguing about. One moment they're fine, the next they're not. Even their names confuse me. Maybe I'll drop this for now and read it all in one go after it's done so it's easier to follow their arguments. Also, the therapist can have his license revoked for breaking patient confidentiality, cause we sign a contract for that y'know. Kinda liked him but he just had to run his mouth damn.

I've read this before and just reread it and I realized that if Zay didn't push for Aseph to be saved as a 5 year old, he would've died there and he wouldn't have suffered countless awful things over and over. She did "give him his life" technically, but his life was fucked after that, honestly. Not to mention, there were zero assurance that the goddess would take pity on her again. For me, these annoyed me. But oh well, since it ended well, idk congrats. ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍

For me, that partannoying.

I have also thought on that point. But of you think of it another way, it was essentially a dogfight over his soul. The evil spirit/devil wanted his pure soul and Elzay wanted to save it. The spirit put him through pain to corrupt him and Elzay would put herself forward to heal him. Anytime the spirit almost won his soul, Elzay would take it back by giving her life in exchange. Elzay wasn't expecting to be saved, The goddess was the one who refused to give up on the girl she blessed. All in all it ends up one big never ending dogfight where noone is willing to concede until Aseph finally found the will to purify himself on his own by sacrificing his own life to rid himself of the spirit. The real question is why hasn't he ever sacrificed himself for her before?

I mean that's true, but she would have to be one heartless person to find out the kid's fate is to be killed and swallowed by the devil and do nothing. Tho I do think it's a bit of a stretch to say a 3 year old was completely ready to give up her life with no fear simply because he was her soul mate. Would a 3 year old even understand the concept of what she felt?

I thought the prince wanted Jooin to realize they can't officially be together but he (the prince) has him by the neck enough to make him settle for being a mistress/paramour? I thought that was the whole thing with the prince leaking the info to the press and all. To dishearten Jooin and manipulate him into thinking he cannot be officially with the prince but will stay by his side still, as a side chick. So what exactly was resolved just because he got kidnapped?
The ending of the sides was so fucking sad, I wish there was a last one with them being happy wtf.
Wait, is this a tragedy? Like, no happy ending in the main story/present timeline? Because I’ll hold off reading if that’s the case.
There is a happy ending~ but the side stories was about their tragic past life so it left a bad taste in my mouth. (。ŏ﹏ŏ)
Oh, okay. Thanks for explaining!
I wonder if I can read the side stories first so that I end on a happy note.
I'd advise not to since the main story had some mystery in it and the side stories reveals/solves the mystery so you'd be spoiling yourself if you read the sides first. What I did was reread the end of the main story after reading the sides just to remind myself that they're happy now.
Ah, okay. I’ll do that then. Thanks!
