Pretty much, lol. In the first half of the chapter (1-5) they explained that it was just a school focused on fighting and protecting the town. It was also a place for people whose lives revolved entirely around combat and had nothing else to fall back on.
Yeah I know it’s a school based on fighting and stuff. I just think it’s funny how they have no parental supervision at all and still willingly go to school lol

He even later on exposes himself as Night Hound and becomes arrested for all the crimes that he’s committed which leads him to go to jail. Which becomes the next arc of the story. I think the mc is being very reasonable with why he’s upset with Lizzie. If we’re being real, Lizzie was taking advantage of his kindness without any regard for how the mc felt, and he just went along with it. You meant the word as how something like a plan being carried out. But execution also means to kill someone. Both ways of the word (even though you meant it the first way) can be used for Lizzie seeing as how he's a killer and has executed people.
