KML is not the main story to this story. They share the same universe and slightliy overlap, but "Kiss me if you can" belongs to the "..if you can" novels about the Miller family and "Kiss me Liar" belongs to the "Kiss me" novels about Keith Pittman+ relatives. It's just that some characters appear in both stories and it takes place at the same time as KML, so some events overlap. If you read KML you have some more informations, but they are not necessary for reading this story.
