i remember those times too but then more people started calling it omegaverse because the abbreviation is an ethnic slur used towards australian aboriginals. it was a pretty big thing and that’s when a lot of people switched over asw. and then omegaverse just stuck and grew in popularity
so personally, i recommend that you switch over :) i understand if you didn’t know but you do now (〜￣△￣)〜

and to be fair a lot of people don’t know so it’s okay when you don’t know ! :) my aboriginal friend who i share manga with sometimes brought it up to me in like 2020 and then i saw the discourse online so it’s common not to know (⌒▽⌒)
