So basically remember why everyone hated iljo, bc he was the “illegitimate son” of his uncle so the cousins would beat him up and him and Jeonghan thought he was dumb for not getting money after iljos “dad” died aka his uncle after iljo had taken care of him and loved him even when he was about to die and now Jeonghan knows that his uncle was actually trying to adopt iljo when he was 6 but ig his wife didn’t like that so he didn’t adopt iljo the right way and just took him ig and everyone thought that he cheated and had iljo. And the reason why iljo never asked for anything was bc it said that all the kids were treated bad when they were being adopted and that babies are adopted more than 6 year olds so he was just thankful he was adopted and took care of the uncle as a way of repaying him ig and he never asked for anything.
