I have sentiments for Veronica. I believe she truly loves Conor? And she was there for him whenever he didn't have anybody else, really. She hasn't showed any signs of being unreasonable or desperate in my opinion. She's freaking heartbroken, I mean wouldn't you be? When the one you thought was in your lover's past shows up again and you know they are a better match. It's not Conor's fault, it's not Veronica's fault either that Simon is back in Conor's life. She's sitting across the table from a man she loved, remembering how they used to be when they were both happy together. She's not desperate, she just has a broken heart and it's more painful to deal with when she can see it doesn't hurt Conor as much as it hurt her. Conor has Simon, but who does Veronica have?
She kind lost her mind, not now but you will see :-(

If Simon and Conor is not together, they will also have nobody. Conors mom is trying to break them apart, everyone is againts homosexuality, at one point everyone wanted to kill Simon, Conor's careers is ruined because of his race. And Veronica is a straight girl that can't let go of her ex?? Veronica has Conors mom on her side, no one is againts her love for Conor because it's a straight love. What more?

She lied that she's pregnant, and tried to kill Simon by shooting him on the chest, and yes. Simon is coma because of that. And Conor is crying like crazy.
She wasn't remembering how THEY used to be happy together. She's remembering how SHE used to be happy with him. Conor was never happy, because he was still dealing with his past, heart break, self-hatred, fear etc. He was trying to run from everything, drown himself and pretend his past didn't exist And that's what she refuses to accept. She refuses to accept that Conor was never really happy, and that he can't be happy with her.
She sees Conor in front of her, the guy is glowing, getting his life back on track; he's gone back to who he used to be with his black nail polish and earrings. Back to a time he was happy. It isn't perfect, but he's with the person he really loves so in some way it's perfect for Conor. And she sees him, notes how he's getting better than how he was when they weren't together, even imagines how he'd look in a future without her; happy, glowing, wearing a suit and about to start a new job.
And then her expression turns FOUL; her eyes become crazed, the bags underneath them become even stronger because Veronica can't stand it; she can't stand seeing Conor happy--can't stand seeing him okay if it's not with her.
That's not love. That's not even being heart broken. That's being crazy. She flops out that she's pregnant because she wants to tie that man to her. Without giving a damn about how it will effect him. She's obsessed with Conor. Not in love.
I know his mom was just trying to do something to help her son but.. that's just cruel.
You can't use people as replacements. It can be unhealthy and mentally deteriorating.
Ok but the mom is mentally unstable herself. She obviously cant think right herself so she did whatever she thought was right. To be honest i feel the worst for the mom
I really liked this! It was lighthearted and I love stories where there's a group of friends who all interact closely with one another.
This hits home and I'm crying. It was painful to see that violence and assault towards Simon and Conor both.
Okay, Ahjussi has insecurities. Clearly.. But he needs to express those openly with his partner? And vice versa. There's too much that is unsaid between them. That never ends well.
