Idk know what the author is thinking when she wrote this first but Im quite sure she didnt intend to write this the way things happening right now. Soo many plot holes and uneccessary twist. Ohwelll. I just have to say Osiris love for Seth is just what shock me and hook. I have to say SETH IS SOOOO HANDSOME.
Imean gods and goddess is what i came for. I wasnt expecting the flor of the story and yaoi in it

I think character plot holes?? Is that a thing.
If seth love for anubis was humongous. I dont think that slicing Or scarificing him during their first battle with his nephew? Also the thing why he wants to kill his sister? When he was the one who stole the husband and not the way around? And will do everything to kill her. Its just doesnt explain anything yknow. And theres many more. I mean the characters arent consistent. Sometimes its just .”WHYYYY? Whyyyy? Didnt you just?? I thought youu ?” Also with her sister cleopatra- forgot the name.. she knew everything and she think its seths fault. She is blaming the wrong person. And if she did met his husband after he was resurrected .. she wouldve have done something, demand something. And so many more that those three .. siblings is a major major plot holes.

I think you should reread the story. Seth didn't ste anyone's husband. He was raped. And the sister and Cleopatra sister...are the same person? Isis. Isis is the wife of the guy who raped Seth - Osiris. Who is obsessed with Seth. He wanted to make Anubis into their united child (he would have to kill him first because two male god's can't give a life to their own child normally) and that's why Seth couldn't strand the thought of that and that's why he agreed to sexual encounter which was forced, blackmailing, brutal rape.
I think the story is very well constructed and written. Characters' and their motives, goals are rather clear.

Then why he was eager to kill ISIS? . Search every corner and even kill the people who looks a lot like her. (Very unnecessary).
Why did he try to sacrifice anubis during the battle with horus? . Where he use him as power to his sword? ( isnt the sword absorbs power like it gets level up, that was his intention. Didnt he says “thats my obidient son—“
and ISIS hate towards seth and not to osiris. When osiris was resurrect, she even get pregnant when she fully know that he betrayed her.

i agree,
(correct me if im wrong because i think im phrasing this wrong, im just saying this on the spot).
the characters actions aren't in accordance with their character, sure, it could be said that way, but we have to remember that things did happen for them to act differently, so it isn't far-fetched, it can be explained by the events that have occurred so its all in the realm of most likely possibilities. so far its all been well-constructed and written, and yeah their goals and motivations are clear. mojito does a great job of portraying the story and its elements really well (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Thats why im saying to her there is characters plot hole. She clearly misunderstood me and spewing none-sense. In my own view the characters emotion jumbles.. why do I say so? Because I read it in one go? I read it for Only 3-4 hours? How about her? She read it everyweek perhaps? Can you see where Im going?

That user was actually agreeing with me so... Like did you even read their post? They literally said the story is well constructed and written and characters' goals are clear.
You are mistaking characters, mixing things which happen... Like you said Seth stole someone's husband when he was literally raped, you also don't understand other users' posts and I'm the one spreading nonsense. Smh
And once again I seriously recommend rereading.
Seth wanted to kill Isis because she refused to rule alongside him and didn't want to go against Osiris plus he was also taking the revenge for her husband's wrongdoings on her. He was furious and mad after betrayal of his wife and brother. We are talking about gods. Their wrath as you can see in mythology is different from humans'.

Isis is literally the portrayal of jealous wife who blame the girl her husband slept with but can't bring herself to hate her husband. This is even more extreme case because the act wasn't consensual.
Although she understands her hypocrisy that's why she cursed herself too. And she got pregnant to get her revenge in the future. It was planned.

unlike stories that have slice of life or comedy genres where we can forgot some chapters or moments that had no important context at all (fillers), ennead is not that at all. ennead s1 is the plot, its full of important story elements, all the chaps are important for context and in s1 alone theres 70+ chaps full of that.
so rereading it to remember the context is totally a-ok (▰˘◡˘▰)

Look you clearly Love to watch chinese drama or chinese manhwa. Where the plot get to so cliche that you even accept it like its a norm. As a reader for only an hours. I can see that the author wasnt planning to make it this story to now or to her prior plan or she wasnt sure of it. Because its bizarre and sometimes the past wont give justice to the present..

If she saw her husband raping their brother and did nothing? Who is she to get angry? Can you see where im going. Sometimes my lack of vocabulary or perhaps because i was so nonchalant of my second comment (forgot the names of character or even used the word stole) I cant explain where my plot-holes thingy coming from.

Sigh. Thank you so much for explanation...
Like I don't understand the problem. Since when humans or in this case gods acted perfectly rightful and like saints? They are problematic, they are selfish at times.
Imo this story is exceptionally well constructed and author put much thought into this title.

I didnt hate characters. I was questioning their resolve, the action why it turned it that way. Why its not convincing excuse for the development of character.
Why Seth hurting anubis.
Why Isis never helped Seth ( because she feels
like her beloved husband was stolen by seth?) because if she was thinking that her husband was raping her brother. She wouldnt do any of the things she had done. She wouldve helped him.. now she made seth who is he now. And she wants revenge using Horus?? To SETH? Of all people?

You are rude af. You don't know anything about me or anyone else so stop making your rude and idiotic assumptions.
You don't understand the story and blame author on your misinterpretstion and misunderstanding.
Isis is typical jealous wife who caught her husband cheating red handed, she knows that her husband is the one who seduced the girl, she founds evidences , that he was texting the girl and she still tries to blame the other party BECAUSE she still had feelings for her husband. She knows he is at fault, she even starts to hates him but still loves him in all of that. It's hypocrite, it's selfish and human. We are biased. She knew that Seth is a victim but she preferred to blame him on the situation. Because if Seth didn't exist then her beloved husband wouldn't go mad and ruin everything. It's irrational, it's selfish way of thinking but it's very human. These characters are morally grey.
And Nephthy's literally betrayed both Isis and Seth... Why shouldn't Isis have cursed her?
And people explained time after time why Isis hates Seth so much. Not only she partially blame him for Osiris's madness although she knows it's hypocritical that's why she cursed herself, she acknowledged that... What's more after the whole betrayal, Seth never told her what’s going on with him while expecting her to become his wife in order to rule Egypt, then made her crawl in darkness, he forced her into exile and she had to hide in some poverty slums for centuries.
