One of my most anticipated yaoi manga just like saezuru. A japanese manga with classic story with good flow of dialogues and the plot is still on point.
Sooo, after reading 52 chapters. I sneak peek to see whose Estell romantic interest. And Im so dissapointed. Im angry. It felt crap.
I cant stand 49, 50 and 51 Chapters. It felt like the author decide to make the duke and the brother soo dense for the feelings, lack of emotion. . I mean the two means the world to Estell and vice versa. But I didnt feel anything how the author portrayed it. Instead he makes Emel the miserable one. Like he was the only who felt regret and turmoil. Just because he was her knight? And the father? Didnt he saw her daughter like almost half dead? I mean in the first chapter you can see how protective they were, possessive even. But na reaction was just meh.. neehh.. because Emel was the one. The author was trying hard to make Emel as the ML. But it didnt look so good. She was his knight, its natural that he was kind , protective and all, just like the rest of the maids, knights. So there is no difference . I hate that the author decides to this coarse. Not only its slow pace but also the lack of imagination. It was good at the beginning. The new world. A magical. She could even be an emperor. But she focul on Emel and Estel when she is just 11. I cant believe this is the top 1in tappytoon. Disappointed, disgusted, frustrated.
Im still chapter 49. And Im worried. I dont like Estellas romantic interest to be Emiel. I just dont like it. Hes like a father or a big brother. Older than his brother. They met each other when she is just 11. My ghad. When I was 11. I would never have a feelings to a man whose like an uncle to me. Pleaseee. I hope Im wronggg, its gross. I dont like it :(

Have you heard Junjou Romantica and Sekai ichi hatsukoi? Coz I believe thats not shounen and thats my first yaoi. I feel like you dont know genre at all. There is even HENTAI with romance. AND THERES A RAPE in shounen ai. Shounen ai doesnt show kiss or bed scene. Where as yaoi. Its still BL BUT WITH 18plus scene. Gosh
I agree with you but yaoi isn't a genre that actually includes romance, the term itself shows that it is only sex, but if there is a romance genre with it them yes there could be cute scenes and more ╮(￣▽￣)╭. But as for now the term yaoi has been tossed around a lot so for some it could mean smth different. I really do hope it has some romance even without the genre specified cause I wanna see them be cute ╥﹏╥

Yaoi is manga showing non-platonic relationships between two males. It is explicit.
Shounen-ai is manga showing non-platonic relationships between two males however it is not explicit.
Which means that it does not have to have romance or kissing to be yaoi.
It indeed isn't really very deserving of top spot but it does have a really good art style so maybe that's why so many people read it.

Do you mean in the story or in general cause if it’s general there are plenty of other bl/gl stories that you can read. This story is a take on reality and what actually happens so please don’t disrespect the authors decisions.
What I said was in general. And I read lots of Bls n Gls. Yeah, I respect the author's decision. Coz whatever he went through, I don't think I would've felt this intensely for him if he didn't go through that. I do think I would've liked some variations on some parts but those just are my opinions.
