tbh the mom kind of sucked for choosing to have the knowing she would die

Every single adult in this story has made a child suffer that includes the mom and the dad

I dont think she sucks because of that. I think she loved her children more than herself because when she new that she was pregnant this gave here hope back

I think her mother love her child so much that she gave up her life for them. I also think that the reason why she gave up her life even knowing how cruel the world is because of her experience as well. That even tho the world already turn its back to her, there are still kindness that we tend to not notice. She wanted her child to experience it. The kindness, the love, and the life.

Humans often times misunderstood something just because its different and they didn't know what it is. So we create something to protect ourselves from it. But aren't we all the same species? We're all humans.

im just saying that she had the option to have an abortion and then tried again to have a child that she would be able to happily raise together with her new husband and son
its her choice and i dont mean to demonize her for it
i just personally couldn't see myself choosing to have a baby (that would then grow up without a mother) over saving myself (esp if its early on in the pregnancy)
not to say that fetuses dont matter because they do but living people's lives are more important over them in a life or death situation imo

Having abortion isnt easy, especially at the time the mum realised she is pregnant. She felt the child in her womb, we can assume that meant that the baby had grown to a fetus already. Its debatable, but the mum is basically killing the child because the baby is no longer an embryo. It has human arms, legs and head. If you look up online, its a very sensitive topic so you can say your not killing a child because it hasn't been given birth yet or it is killing the child because it was already formed. But If you've seen the actual process of abortion, you will understand why its a big deal. I would also reconsider aborting after finding out the procedure. So I don't think you should say it that easily that she should abort the babies.

You said the mum is selfish for choosing to keep her children despite the hardship and pain they would feel growing up but who is she to decide to take their life away before they could even experience it? If you reread the scene when the dad asked her to abort so she could live, she also said something like this. She has no right to decide that she should end their lives before they had known what life is. She sacrificed her life to let her children know what life is about. Yes, the child had experienced hardship and yes she wanted to die because of the pain. But this story is telling us that life is all about going through the hardship and pain and live life to the fullest knowing that there is still love in this world. The mum is giving hope to her children despite knowing what they may experience. To me, this is the most beautiful story and the author pulls your heart effectively to get the point accross.

Duh, the reason why she decided to give birth to them at the cost of her life was because she knew they will be taken care of by the guy. It's a matter of sentimentality. For some people, sex feels good no matter who you're with while kissing only feels good with someone you like. Hence, there are such things as sex toys whereas there aren't any devices you can use to satiate your "need" for kissing.
