Nah I don't think so. Judging by the prequel there's nothing going on between them except her having a crush on him. He's also portrayed like a good teacher and person. He even encouraged her to be herself and do what she wants so she goes overseas after graduation. It's been 7 years so I don't think it's bad if she pursued him after becoming an adult.
