Rereading this again and I still feel the same emotions I felt years ago especially waiting for the chapters to be released. I love this so much.
I'm getting annoyed on how MC is being so kind of Fjord and not listening to Atil as to why he reacted like that (maybe in the next chapters it will be explained,) its like she is trying too hard because she finds Fjord pretty. But then, I found out Fjord is the ML? Uhhh, okayyy? I'll try and give a chance to that thought.
i personally dont have a problem with him being the male lead we don’t even know much about him and the mc is supposed to be an innocent child so of course she’s gonna be kind she didn’t treat atil any different all she saw was him suddenly beating up her ‘friend’ so her reaction was valid
She wasn't listening to Atil because Atil wasn't really speaking tho. He lunged at Fjord the moment he saw him. Atil just showed up and started using is hands and fists before his words. Obviously she's going to want Atil to stop hitting him, because Atil never started off with explaining his issues with Fjord.
On top of that, she's always been the type to trust her gut instead of blindly believing what people. If she wasn't like that, Atil would have been killed by his guard, remember? The entire story up to this point has shown us that she's a good judge of character. So I really don't think she only cares about Fjord or chose his side because he's pretty. She did it because Atil was (1) out of line; you don't just tackle someone's guest without talking to the host first, (2) never bothered using his words to start-off with and (3) her gut hasn't told her that Fjord is a bad person and her gut has always been right (for as far as we've seen)
