i'm actually glad that this is not too focused on the romance. i like that this story shows 80% of the mc and her struggles. i want her to figure things out first. she has a lot on her plate and i hope she realizes that she's not actually alone. i also hope she finds something she's passionate about.
as for nasar, a lot of people are saying that he doesn't give of male lead vibes and more of a side char energy which is actually not a bad thing!!!! if the mc ever falls inlove completely then that's okay as well. anyway i've seen people saying that they're endgame and as long as the mc finds happiness first with her family (either w leguin and her brothers, or the emperor) then that's all that matters. she deserves all the love in the world!!!
