I was surprised too. But we never know about that, maybe in the next other chapters. What shocked me is the snake in mc's dream T__T like was that the head or the tail? All in all it makes my skin crawl but manageable.
I also am very unsettled by the idea of a snake being inside someone, especially because, as someone who spends a lot of time around snakes you learn that their scales only go one direction.
