They did both love each other but in different ways, they were not on the same page, making their relationship toxic to both of them. Seojin might have different motives at first, but he fully understood what was happening & stayed by Jaehyun's side. His appearance was the peak since it made Jaehyun realize that he can start all over again without Minwoo, and it's okay & he can do it.
