I guess it's just outdated. It's full of pretty overdone tropes (pushover bottons, abusive relationship, toxic top, dub con/rape, misunderstandings for the sake of the plot etc etc) and the relationship between the leads can be frustrating and eventually tiring. I finished it just to know the ending but I honestly wouldn't read again

It's a really good story. The sunbae is a bit pushy, the whole 'rape' thing was explained later on to be nothing of the sort, and the rest of the story is pure wholesome family vibes.
