Reading this while listening to mitski’s a pearl. I can’t really blame either of them because they both went through hardships. Karel who once loved Sasha turned into cruel and uncaring person and i get that he was devoted to him even after he got sent to war. Sasha never really loved him due to his past and feeling afraid Karel might’ve been ordered to send him back to the man who killed his family. Sasha regretted leaving Karel when he got successful and after he learned that he died. I feel really guilty on his behalf but he wasn’t really in a good mental health before he choose to fully love Karel. Idk y’all I’m just really sad that they’re both suffering a lot because fate didnt want them to become happy.
I don’t read the novel but I was genuinely surprised that the other novel I’m reading “how the sidekick prince lives again” shares the same universe as this one. Hopefully that one will get adopted into manhwa as well (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
