Leo could get his life together and completely cut JJ off and JJ still wouldn’t cave and admit he still has feelings for him because of his pride. with the way he always acts like he can’t stand Leo after their breakup, it’s obvious he’s doing that on purpose to hurt him. him aways wanting the last say and to always be the one to walk away first in every scene at the expense of Leo’s feelings tells us the most abt what kind of person he is, Leo needs to do the same cause why would he be the one to meet halfway when JJ is going out of his way to tell him “I’ve moved on” in every scene. he should just focus on himself cause him being reliant on A MAN to race is such an annoying plot the author is doing. it’s definitely working cause I’m mad, but it feels like the author is telling us that JJ is the only reason Leo’s career as a racer depends solely on if he’s with JJ, throwing all his hard work before JJ in the trash. Leo was the one who got himself to where he was before dating JJ, he gotta stand tf up or I can’t root for him if he’s depending on fucking JJ to get his head in the game. do that shit on your own
