i’m sorry but Yuri is getting on my fucking nerves AGAIN and I thought we were already fucking past this. I don’t care how much you love Jiri, why the fuck does his past sex life make him not allowed to have a say in his own sex life and relationship. I love possessive men, but if Jiri is sick of feeling stressed because Yuri doesn’t trust him whenever he’s not around, he has the right to say so. All those times you regretted hurting Jiri and begged him for forgiveness, look at what you doing now huh?? Jiri deserves respect and if you feel insecure or jealous or even hateful, as an adult it is your job to communicate that with Jiri who is quite literally trying to make it up to you that he was a “whore”. Even that to me is just disgusting. this feels so refreshing compared to a lot of BL that get super repetitive that it just feels like we are shoving two ppl at each other. Like it’s so nice to see the relationship develop and it rlly reminds me of a isekai because of how fun and independent the mc is. If I was rich I would invest in GOOD isekai to get animated and I would pay mappa to do it, idk when we gonna break that shoujo wall that doesn’t invest in good stories like Raeliana(other webtoon from same author). Don’t get me wrong I’m happy to see a webtoon get animated, but it should have gotten more funding to have better animation better voice actors and better music(a lot of it was cringy). and it would be nice if a south korean studio picked it up, but I bet there isn’t that much demand compared to other genres. Like I don’t understand I feel like now we are in a period where everyone wants something new why all these amazing stories aren’t given just a chance at a pilot episode. I’m not talking abt this story specifically, but the work of this author like Raeliana just feels like a missed opportunity when not enough is being done to honor the source material. if you are gonna animate it, why not go more all out?(I kno cuz of budget but it’s so frustrating) like I can’t imagine watching the first episode of FMAB or SNK or JJK or Kimetsu no yaiba and have it be anything less than as amazing as the source. I’m not by any means saying Raeliana can rlly compare, but Violet Evergarden is BEAUTIFUL and idk why the same care can’t go into to more shoujo or romance webtoon a as a genre. It kinda makes me sad to think abt like I love reading romance/historical/isekai/fantasy dramas, but I wish just one story could break through to mainstream just so we can start to see more stories with potential be animated BUT GOOD. I want mappa quality and the same care as any other shounen to be put in. Not just animation but voice acting is so so so important. It’s the difference as having Yuki Kaji as mc or not. idk this just a feeling I got after reading and I’ve been thinking for a while

no one makes my blood boil like Jooin. also I hate to say anything abt the author, but there’s rlly no excuse for adding a childhood friends just to make your pairing justified. I kno you want Jooin and Yahwi to be together and love that bad boy boarderline abusive kinda vibe, but this is not how you do it. Anyone can read the beginning and CLEARLY TELL Yahwi did not give a fuuuuck abt Jooin and he didn’t treat Jooin like a childhood friend either. stop writing unreasonable expectations into a work where non of the characters are likable because their personalities all revolve around Jooin who is by far the most pathetic out of all of them

I’m tired I know Yahwi and Jooin are gonna end up together so just do it. Tell Cain and just do the whole “It was my childhood friend this whole time?” thing. This is just my opinion but I just feel tired after 80 chapters of back and forth repeat reuse. Like I don’t like any of these characters because they don’t have personalities by themselves, being an orphan with trust issues isn’t a personality and getting swayed by every guy who talks to you also isn’t a personality trait. I just hated the whole “Yahwi I respect myself so I’m gonna be the one to leave you this time” only for every time he even looked in Jooin’s direction for him to be like “could he…like me?” Don’t even get me started on Cain, girl have some self respect and walk away if someone is still getting over an ex. Like I knew Yahwi and Jooin were gonna end up together since day one yet why this whole story drag on if it’s not even doing anything new. I could name so many stories that have this exact plot but do it 100x better. I just feel so frustrated after finishing each update, this reminds me of True Beauty honesty

bruh I’ve never cried reading an ending chapter other than december rain omfgggg, if you wanna read something similar, pls read December Rain, my heart hurts so much but this chapter is such a beautiful ending I actually love these two characters with all my heart and this story rlly helped me when I was feeling stressed or sad
