I sorta see why people have such a distaste for this manhwa. They made Cain such a lovable character. TOO good let's be real. And people just want the best for him but of course in the end he'll be a run in the mill 2nd lead that just infuriates people.
With jooin making all this marupok decisions and yahwi being an (unintentional) asshole, which i understand us humans can be this but we gotta grow and all but why does the plot have to make Cain end up getting nothing(unless yoww the author does flips an uno reverse card). He just ends up their to fill the void of Jooin and that's it, maybe Jooin's happiness is ok with him and he dont deserve that!
Maybe it would have been better if Cain didn't exist(????) Would hate that but judging from the response of the readers just seems like maybe that would have made the intake of the story more acceptable. Idk not me but im one the rare who still reeeeeeeally enjoys the series and really want to know what's up. This just shows how hella weak people are 2 love triangles HAHAHAHAHAH.
Yeah... In the end poor Cain will lose cuz he's meant to be just the second lead. In the end he'll just watch those two get together or sth. I think the best solution here if they want all the characters to be happy is to introduce another uke for Cain. I dont think people will be happy if they will just leave Cain all alone.

When it comes to love triangles I seriously prefer not all of them to be paired. The second lead can find happiness on his own but that doesn’t necessarily imply another person.

So basically she wanna set up her son to a date for a potential future wife and here is this girl with no regards just insulting Xia Xu and the mom just be like "Li dont insult the lil bitch, she rich and shit." She don't see the red flags the conglomerate girl and just ignores her putting down our boy and only sees benefits for her son.
Maybe im going to hard on this but I thought she'd be a much decent person and wouldn't go a blind eye on shitty personality just becoz the date comes from a wealthy fam(judging from how much love a respect Bai Li has for her mom). Something about revenge stories just makes me go "ugh this again" and they'd just be a very lackluster and cliche plot but deeeym this exceeded my expectations. Each reveal to raymonds plots made me shocked, baffled, impressed, pissed, etc. My feelings for reymond would always go high and low with what he was up to. His character delevopement was slow and at steady (it almost made me think na he will fuck ian uo in the end) but that wasn't the case. He got to realize what really matter to him which WAS WHAT I REALLY WANT HIM TO REALIZE and he did, it was satisfying when he did. He is such a very well written character, one if not the best written character in a bl manhwa. Periodt.
My favorite characters are francois and new nicholas. They be just so chill and level-minded. Nicholas would be spitting FACTS to ian and i'd wish this kid would listent to him seriously. You betch im proud that he got the girl he liked! Francois be an artist to his core is admirable and didnt let bias from nobility get to him. Love these two.
Ian really deserves the world. Honestly i think raymond didnt deserve this cinnamon roll(he was just so fucked up) but if Ian's happiness is with him then i guess im ok. Sign to my allegiance and protect this boy!!
