Though, it technically hasn't been confirmed, but it is implied that the reason why WS attacked the village was because he sensed the ancient power while he was gathering dead mana for the mermaids in the Forest of Darkness. It has been confirmed that he is capable of sensing ancient powers and only OG!Cale knew about the ancient power being there.

The bastard likely wanted to cover what he was doing up, gain more dead mana, and such, and killed the entire village whilst retrieving it. So two birds with one stone? Not entirely sure, but I think my theory lines up with his psychotic character.

As for before chapter 200, I can't quite recall. My guess is he either wanted to continue getting the dead mana (which I've forgotten whether it was dealt with at that point or not) or wanted to do some payback/weaken on Cale since that's where part of his force/family resides.

And yeah, another reason is because Redika is crazy

when you first read the story you'd see him as a typical manwh*re. but if not for casual pleasure he's actually very particular with the people he sleeps with ie if it's for the yakuza, he only sleeps with someone if he can benefit from it. recall that he once dated nao but the truth was he only did that because she had connections and he needed that for his group. + the only reason he slept with her again is to get to ozu. so try to see it as he can do anything (even sleeping with random people) if it means he/his group/yoshino can benefit from it.
